| 26/092008 | Cherry Pipes Staff Abseil Down Europa Hotel for Charity Sandra, Denise and Arlene abseiled down the side of the Europa hotel for CLIC Sargent. CLIC Sargent is a childrens cancer charity and its "Yummy Mummy" initiative has resulted in many women doing similar brave stunts across the U.K. They raised over £1500 so a big thank you to everyone who donated to this worthy cause !

Eunan was at Cherry Pipes working on a design project and Tamsin was at Cherry Polymers working on a plastic identification project.

Antrim is Ireland’s largest plastic bottle sorting facility, the sorting plant uses state of the art machinery to sort plastic bottles by material type and colour. |

On Friday 7 September at Cookstown a raft race took place between The Polymer Processing Research Centre and Loughrey College. Two twinwall drainage pipes were used to manufacture the PPRC raft supplied by Cherry Pipes Ltd. and so was some of the paddle power ! The video shows some of the action from a very fun day ! |
| 30/08/2006 | The Northern Ireland Assembly’s Committee for Employment and Learning conducted a fact-finding visit to Queen's University Belfast. The Committee for Employment and Learning is the first Assembly Committee to have conducted an off-site visit since the resumption of business at Stormont. Dr. Paul Beaney, Quality Manager at Cherry Pipes Ltd. met the MLAs at the Polymer Processing Research Center and discussed with Anna Lo (MLA) the importance of highly innovative companies and research clusters within the plastics industry.
